Luca is a painter who works since many years in the field of hobby, painting and creative expression. Over time, he approached Sugar Art and brushlettering, the art of writing with brushes.
Painting Curriculum
Luca joined as a student in various creative seminars, particularly deepening his knowledge of the One Stroke decorative painting technique, becoming a second level Osci Instructor (One Stroke Certified Instructor), certified in London by Mark Taylor (Elite Director UK). Luca then customized the techniques learned thanks to a training course followed in Oklahoma (USA) with Priscilla Hauser, in August 2011.
In the following years, Luca experimented new techniques, refining his pictorial skills also on sugar paste and he learned the art of writing with brushes, better known as brush lettering.
Cake Curriculum
Luca’s passion for figurative arts has evolved over time: Fiorella Balzamo, internationally renowned cake designer, has taught him all the secrets to make monumental cakes decorated with sugar paste and Luca has officially turned into a cake designer! During 2013 Luca then perfected his skills at Squires Kitchen in London, studying with illustrious personalities in the field of cake design. His painting studies give him an edge on the decoration of cakes. During 2016 Luca embarked on a more specific path: the decoration of desserts with whipped cream.
